The Old Post Office Apartment

We’d stayed previously back in October 2024 and can confirm our second stay didn’t disappoint and was as good as the first. It had everything we needed even beach towels that you could use! And fans that were fantastic this time around.

It wasn’t that we didn’t like it as it showed it worked but the smoke alarm is super sensitive so even making toast became a challenge to see if it would go off or not!

We have a couple of nights at the old post office! Lovely place, beautifully decorated and in a good location

The location was central but up the top of a massive hill so challenging to get to the centre of Falmouth to restaurants and shops.

Just the hill and steps to access the shops and restaurants which was difficult if you have not travelled by car.

Bei warmen Temperaturen ist die Luft nicht gut und es kühlt nicht ab. Bei geöffnetem Fenster ist es sehr laut und es kühlt auch kaum ab.

The host, the accommodation and the location were excellent. The host was very responsive and helpful. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, and everything needed for a comfortable stay was there and it was just a short walk into the small town.

Loved the space. Great layout and the very personal touches to the decor made it feel special. Clear instructions for entering the apartment and a phone number in case something went 'south'.

Although we were left two very large thick bath towels, I would have appreciated one or two smaller ones as well, (just for drying hair) but I would not say this was a problem per say. It's difficult to find any fault with this place as the hosts thought of everything.
