Absolutely loved this place. The hosts are great and meet you on arrival. Its like a real 'home from home inside and so pretty with window box flowers on the outside. It's near the main square where the markets are, and the road there is full of interesting shops and cafes.

This apartment is well looked after by the hosts and is situated right in the centre of Uppingham which we describe as a quaint little English town containing independent shops, a nice hotel and pubs and restaurants. We travelled by car so had easy access to the surrounding area which is very pretty - lots of little villages and village pubs. Rutland water is about a 10-15 minute drive away - we would like to stay in this apartment again and explore Rutland Water some more.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this apartment, it felt very homely and comfortable. We stayed as a group of 5 adults across 2 families so a second bathroom facility would have been useful but not essential as there was a constant supply of hot water.

Friendly hosts, who responded quickly and positively to my queries and requests. Lovely, tastefully decorated apartment, with 2 decent sized double bedrooms and a single. Pleasant lounge, bathroom and kitchen. Ideal for what we needed. I was able to collect keys in person and was given a very thorough and helpful show round. Alternatively I could have collected via a key box if it'd been out of hours.

Being in the middle of a busy market town, parking could be hit and miss, although we managed to fine on a Friday and Saturday.
