"Comfortable and spacious studio"

9.0

Cute studio, comfortable bed. Spacious with a separate kitchenette, along with dining area, television, couch and bed. WiFi and heating worked well. Good instructions on the location in advance. Appreciated that the curtains were heavy enough to keep out the morning light so I could sleep in. Very quiet. Everything I needed.

"Difficult to find and very tight parking/access."

4.0

Location on googlemaps and booking is totally wrong. Location given is for the car port at Bramley Cottage at the top of Bat Alley (the homeowner thought it was hilarious I was booked in to stay in their car port and sorry they couldnt help, we thought I'd been scammed). No email with instructions received. No signs out near the road or driveway. Phone number doesnt work so could not call to ask for help. No lighting, pitch black when I turned up. House was in almost complete darkness, no doorbell. Had to knock on windows to get their attention. Owner couldnt give a *hit when I tried to explain difficultly in finding them. Parking is a nightmare. Very tight access, no space to turn around, you have to reverse back through the twisty driveway and all the back up the lane to the main road before you can turn around. Accomodation could be cleaner, thick dust in the corners of the carpet and on the top of the skirting boards, cobwebs all around the loft hatch and bed. Silicone hanging out the shower. Coffee press was dirty from last user, was not cleaned when put back in the cupboard. No instant coffee provided. Bit of an amateur setup compared to the norm, not worth £85 a night. Would not recommend or return. Shame because its a lovely area with nice pub down the road.

"Comfortable self-contained accommodation in Marnhull."

10.0

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay in this comfortable, self-contained unit. The little out-house is situated right at the end of a narrow lane in the quiet village of Marnhull. Although the weather was cold (well below zero for some of the time), we found the unit comfortable and cosy - it was quick and easy to heat with the two installed electric heaters. The location was ideal for exploring the Shaftesbury area and (for us) visiting relatives who live in the vicinity. The hosts were helpful and friendly.

Nothing!
