Nothing cannot fault the place

Everything we needed for a short stay, cosy apartment. Good bathroom, well furnished kitchen and comfy king-size bed. Good parking and room to turn round.

Needed to live out of our suitcase as only a single hanging space for clothes and difficult to leave the suitcase open flat anywhere, everything else fine. A little difficult to find first time as sat nav took us to the adjacent road, ended up pulling over to find on foot at which point directions made sense.

Ideal location

There is nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. Wardrobe rail is really high. Small 2 seater sofa.

Small but perfectly formed. Contained everything we needed. Great location for Hexham amenities and getting out and about. Hist was super helpful.

Nothing.

Wonderful place to stay for exploring Hadrian’s Wall. Alex the host was delightful to deal with and even offered me the chance to come a day early and have extra night free (sadly I couldn’t). The apartment had everything you could possibly think of from toiletries in the bathroom, every utensil you’d need in the kitchen along with lovely touches such as fresh milk in the fridge and coffee supplies etc. The whole place was just so cared for and the attention to guests’ comfort made you feel so welcome and not just a source of income. It really was a little home from home for me for three days. Location wise it’s perfect - both in terms of the town centre and Hexham itself (lovely town) as a base. All this and it really wasn’t very expensive.

Only one thing - the weather wasn’t great and because the living area in the flat doesn’t get much direct sun it was quite chilly at times. I couldn’t see a way of activating the central heating though there was a standalone fire in the living room that was handy. I didn’t raise this at the time as it wasn’t “cold cold” so there might have been a solution if I had.

Fantastic property for a short break in Hexham. Very clean and comfortable. Great onsite parking right outside the front door. Good kitchen facilities with a cosy lounge area with a large smart TV. Lovely bathroom with a large shower. The bedroom overlooks the garage roof and gardens. Bed very comfortable. Only a short easy walk to the town centre, either along the main road, or through the local park.

Nothing! This property was perfect for our visit.
