We liked that it was self-contained and accessible. It is a very private location situated between Barrow upon Humber and Thornton Curtis. Deer lodge is situated in a very peaceful location and is well equipped.

Parking is sometimes difficult to find a space on the road.

"A good few days away - well positioned to explore N Lincs & E Yorks."

Location good (the area we wanted to be in). Nice and quiet. Good range of TV programmes available to relax with later in the evening.

It would have been good if there was an ice compartment in the fridge, to re-freeze ice packs for picnic box each day. The bed was rather soft/bouncy, and we tended to roll together into the middle of the bed rather than be able to sleep comfortably one each side.

"Quiet and peaceful stay in a beautiful little lodge"

The property was perfect it was comfortable, clean and really peaceful. The host was great she checked in regularly to see if I needed anything. Would definitely recommend.

"all in all a good stay negative bits were just my preference many thanks to the host who was great"

nice area quiet and felt my car was safe easy to find and host was quick with responses to questions and checked in on me which was a nice touch.

bed wasnt comfortable and sofa wasnt either i felt price was a little high.

Loved the lodge very clean and nothing was to much trouble. Sarah was so kind and accommodating and helpful. Would recommend to friends and family. Every thing we needed and asked for was given.
