"Cottage sympa mais trop humide et entouré de midges."

Sympathique cottage avec vue sur le loch. Taille parfaite pour 3 personnes. HÎtesse trÚs sympathique. Salle de bain rénovée toute belle.

My god, c'Ă©tait tellement humide que moi qui souffre d'asthme, j'en ai eu dĂšs mon arrivĂ©e. Au point oĂč je n'ai pas su dormir dans la chambre, trop humide. J'ai dĂ» dormir dans le salon. Il y a un extracteur d'humiditĂ© mais il n'est pas suffisant. Ma lessive ne sĂ©chait pas non plus. DeuxiĂšme inconvĂ©nient : les midges. Ils se pressaient en nuĂ©es autour du cottage.

"Wonderful cottage with a magnificent view"

Charming, comfortable cottage in a quiet, rural location with a magnificent view. Very well appointed, and conveniently located 15 minutes drive from Portree, and also a short drive from some of Skye's iconic scenery and sights. Elsbeth and Graeme are wonderful hosts and provided excellent information.

"Ok but wouldn't book again..."

Nice property... good view...

A bit farther from town than we expected... we had to buy our own toilet paper, kleenex, shampoo and conditioner... beds very uncomfortable... we froze at night as the heating was timed and shut off at 10 pm... had to request extra bedding... no wifi...

"Perfect base to explore the Isle of Skye"

Lovely cottage with fabulous views, especially when the weather is good. Perfect for a couple. Kept to a high standard and very comfortable. Owners are great and have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area.

If you have a large vehicle, the turn into the drive would be tight. There is no WiFi, which we found to be a welcome respite, but could be an issue for others.

"A gem of a stay on the Isle of Skye."

It was in a countryside setting, quiet and pastoral. Obviously the cottage is well maintained. We could have prepared our meals there, but chose to dine in Portree and other parts of the island.

A fantastic house to stay in. It is extremely comfortable, clean and has all you need for your stay. A lovely view from the kitchen window. Elspeth and Gordon were great hosts.
