There was water, milk, bread, butter and jam in the fridge and there were family games free to use a very nice touch

Breakfast supplies were great.

It was just freezing in the room. The weather wasn’t unseasonably cold but the room isn’t properly insulated and the two heaters were inadequate to heat the space. We slept in our clothes and coats. I didn’t shower because there was no heating in the bathroom at all and being in a cold space with ice cold towels wasn’t right for getting at all wet. Apart from the room temperature and one (turquoise) blanket which really needed a wash the place was good. But you don’t expect to freeze.

self contained within large garden. Lovely shower room. Outdoor sitting area and another decked area to use. Plenty of outdoor toys for younger children to use.
