location fab and wished we'd booked for longer! very friendly hosts! couldn't believe how peaceful it was so close to the main road!

perhaps heated towel rail in bathroom as was difficult to dry towels?

Ideal for a stopover. We used it to travel to Newton Abbot races, which is south of Exeter and easily reached in an hour.

The cleanliness and the host

We didn't spend too much time in the cottage as we were visiting the healing weekend however the cottage was everything we could have hoped for for a fantastic price point. We didn't arrive until very late as we had driven down after work from Norfolk but called on arrival and the keys had been left in the door for us so getting in was easy. Car park was well lit as was the way into the property. It was absolutely fabulous that the dogs were welcome to. Unfortunately one of the dogs did have a funny tummy so the beautiful garden was a real bonus until the morning when we found the riverside walk only 5 mins walk from the property. Also nearby, local shops, a bakery, a cash point and anything else you could want or need. Such a lovely area.

Hosts were lovely, very welcoming. It was lovely being able to sit outside in a beautiful quiet garden. Full kitchen and more space than you get in a hotel room.

The bathrooms need upgrading.
