Not homely not clean needs some tlc

The you tube video to demonstrate the entrance to the apartment was super helpful. The location was amazing. Right at the base of the Edinburgh castle and close to Waverly train station. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Not accessible for people with mobility issues. This was not a problem for us. But the apartment is on the fourth floor, and want people to be aware that it is a hike up the stairs. We were provided four rolls of toilet paper for a family of five for a week. When I inquired about more toilet paper, I was told to get it from the store. We paid a decent amount of money for this place, and seems getting more toilet paper for a week stay is a small ask. The sofa is not comfortable to sit on, and the table chairs were folding chairs, so it was not very comfortable to hang out in the apartment. Luckily we were busy and didn't spend much time in the apartment. But if you are planning to lay about and rest, the bed is the only comfortable place to relax.

Easy to find and check in and out. Plenty of space for a family. Well equipt and lovely decor. We would definitely stay again.

Was a little cold when we arrived but soon warmed up. Could do with a dust in places.

It’s in the fourth floor so it was difficult going up and down with luggage and pushchair. Not sure if this was mentioned when booking and I totally missed it. Also, there was only one mirror in the bathroom, not ideal for 3 women trying to get ready in a rush every morning ;)

Great location just on the outskirts of the main tourist area. Ample kitchen and a nice shower with great pressure and hot water.

Older property with obvious wear. Unit is located on the fourth floor in a vintage walkup and requires a climb of more than 50 stairs. Probably would not have chosen this had I known that at booking. I admit I am a little spoiled and used to higher quality finishes, but if your on a budget this apartment is fair considering.

The flat was spacious, once we found it. Bizarrely the key fob is numbered something like 824, there is no 824! So the neighbours had to help me locate the flat on the top floor after I had tried the keys in their lock 🔒. Once in the flat had everything we needed.

The key fob number not corresponding to the flats number🤯. There is a record player along with a rack of LP’s which was quite a nice novelty, however it doesn’t have any speakers 🤦🏻‍♂️. Also the main bathroom 🚽 doesn’t have a lock, instead an annoying block of wood you hang on the door 🚪 to show engaged or vacant. Try shutting the door 🚪 when you’re in there, the block of wood gets in the way and makes it difficult to close the door 🚪. A lock is required as my mother in law & I found out.
