Chelidoni apartment

The location is very good, in the heart of the city. I saw some reviews that parking is a problem, but the host, Irene, directed us to Porto Parking which is 20m from the property and we found very cheap and safe parking for about 7 euro / day. There were a lot of good restaurants nearby and we could get anywhere very quickly. Even though the apartment is in the city center, the good windows and shutters ensured a quiet night and comfortable sleeping. The apartment is awesomely decorated and has all the necessary, modern, appliances.

Nothing not to like. If parking is a problem, just go to the nearby set up parking space (Porto Parking)

Spacious and very neat secure property. Very kind host. House was filled with all basic amenities and goodies. Great location and Reachable to all tourist attractions by walk. Owner stays in same building which gives additional comfort and availability Loved total metal door protection for all windows and doors especially for ground floor. We can shut down house during night with A/C on inside.

No problems at all. Overall good experience. Some minor items: It was next to the main road so can be noisy sometimes on busy period and difficult to dry clothes outside due to lot of dust from road.

It was cold, the heating didn't work well

The host, Rena was very accommodating and welcoming, one of the warmest ladies I ve met. Every detail was thought off. She had a great coffee selection, plenty of water and juices in the fridge, a lovely chocolate and some local chikoudia. I can honestly say that in my 3 weeks at the apartment I felt like home. It is very cosy and spacious, the mattress was really good and I even had a washing machine. There was an ironing board and iron, for those that like to iron. The place was spotless and the location was superb. 200 meters to the old city centre, 120 meters to some of the nicest seafood taverns. Bay views even though it is ground floor. I strongly recommend and will definitely book again. My favourite places to eat were ipokampos, kazual, piaza and via pastarela, peskesi and for some fresh smoothies fruit downtown.

This is one of the best apartments I have stayed in when it comes to price-facilities. The apartment is very clean, seems newly furbished and has all amenities and extras one could eve think of. We had water and juice boxes for the kids in the fridge, a small fruit basket, raki and candy on the table, body lotion and other toiletries (including daily liners), coffee moka pot and coffee filter machine, toaster, microwave and so on in the kitche. We basically had everything one could need at a very fair and decent price. And the host was very very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
