Fotis was very friendly and helpful. Beach literally on your doorstep. The proximity of the airstrip was not a problem at all. Overall very quiet.

Just a little isolated. You need a car if you like to explore the island.

First of all thank you Fotis! Amazing host, we had a problem with our cooker first night. Next day cooker was replaced. Answered all of our questions and advised on how to get around kefalonia. Rooms were cleaned every 2 days, so no concerns with cleansiness. We were lucky as were able to stay a little longer in the apartment on our last day as host had no one booked in. (This is not included in the apartment booking, checkout by 11am usually) If you are visiting sunset beach apartments make sure to visit dragostolli snack pool bar. 3 minute walk, amazing food and free to use pool.

Location is lovely has a beach but is an issue to get out towards bus route. (only applies if you are not driving). As neither my partner nor I drive it was a long walk uphill to get to nearest bus stop. As well as you can hear airplanes in the background land and fly off. However this is the only concern if you drive and a little noise does not bother you at night this is perfect place to stay at.
