Downtown Apt at Filellinon

Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen und bietet viel Platz – ideal für einen Aufenthalt in der Stadt. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Bett war sauber und bequem. Es gab mehrere Tagesdecken, die zwar dekorativ waren, aber einen etwas gebrauchten Eindruck machten. Insgesamt aber ein angenehmer Aufenthalt mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Der Aufenthalt in der Stadt hatte zwar viele Vorteile, allerdings gab es auch einige Punkte, die weniger angenehm waren. So war es morgens und abends recht laut, was vermutlich an der zentralen Lage liegt. Auch die Toilette war etwas unpraktisch gestaltet, da der Deckel beim Sitzen ständig im Rücken störte. Ein weiterer Punkt ist das Treppenhaus: Man muss drei Stockwerke zu Fuß zurücklegen, und einige Geländer wirkten beschädigt, was den Aufstieg nicht ganz sicher erscheinen ließ.

Central location

Arriving at 11 Fillelon on a Friday night in peak season was a little like taking part in Amazing Race!? When we located the key box at the wooden door between the handbag vendor and soap kiosk in that rabbit warren of cobbled streets amid throngs of people - we gave ourselves a high five! :) It was quite amazing, in the heart of the action, to find a key that opened a door to a staircase that led us to our comfy central apartment overlooking the rooftops and quintessential washing lines of wonderful Old Town Corfu. The apartment is airy, bright and spacious, and had everything we needed for our 2-night stay. Being right in the buzz of Old Town in August was wonderful. It was surprisingly quiet what with all the busy-ness downstairs. We'd stay here again. Not fancy - but just lovely.

Everything was as expected. A note to those not strong enough to lug a suitcase up three flights of stairs - there is no lift - but totally doable. Also, don't be put off by the dark underwhelming entrance when you open the door - when you open the door to the apartment, all is good :)

Spacious and inside old town

It never said anywhere that it was third floor and of course being so old there are no lifts. Lifting suitcases up those old rickety stairs was manageable for us but probably wouldn’t be for older clients. Needs to be transparent on booking.

Bit noisy...floor cracks, you can hear neighbors and tourists outside But thats due to the old house and the location in old town (this information is only for those who look for a super quiet stay)

The location in the middle of the old part of corfu is just perfect. We loved the apartment. Bed was great and there is a lot of space for your luggage. Would recommend to anyone

The boiler isnt the most useful thing when you have a busy schedule

It was a lovely and very spacious apartment at the center of the old town! Very convenient location. Totally worth it. I would go again 100%!
