Spacious Apartment

Konstantinos and his wife welcomed us with some fresh pastries and the room was nice, even if the bathroom was very cramped.

I would have loved to leave a good review, as the value for money was great and the room good. But on the day of checkout we were woken up at 9 in the morning by the blasting and drilling of construction work. We wanted to sleep in a bit after some intense days of walking and checkout was supposed to be at 12. The construction work - about which we were not told anything at all - continued all the way until we left the room at 11. It not only woke us up in the rudest manner possible, it also made it basically impossible to talk as it was so loud, not to mention taking away the possibility of using the outside area, as they were literally working in that place. This is unacceptable; we are supposed to be able to use the room and the space in a comfortable and complete manner until checkout. Schedule construction work for when you are not hosting any guests.

We liked the location of the apartment close to the water and shops in the city centre. We also liked the gentle hospitality of Constantinos and Alexandra who provided us with information about how to get to locations, with fruit and a meal of spanakopita and called us a taxi on our last morning.

The limited range of crockery and cutlery was an issue for us as we wanted to eat breakfast and at least a few other meals at the apartment. The host could consider providing cereal bowls and spoons in addition to plates.

The mattress was so lovely. I slept great! I'm actually going to order this mattress for myself. I appreciate the coffee that was provided. Most places only offer a capsule or two for a little espresso machines. This place had more than one small capsule. I'm grateful for that. The location in relation to downtown was superb. Only a 5 minute walk and you are in the thick of things.

It would have been nice to have a carpet or something instead of just the tile floor. I like to do some stretching in the evening, and there is nothing but the cold floor.

Beautiful house in a very good position. City center is very near by foot, beach also. Supermarket is at couple of minutes walk. Beautiful garden and very interesting and almost artisticaly designed apartments. Lot of space, lot of comfort with all facilities you may need during your stay. Spotlesly clean, exceptional. Parking space in the garden, with locked gate. Maximum security. Everything is just right. We travel a lot, one of the best private acomodation we ever had. You can just feel a top-class on every corner of apartment. Mr. Konstantinos (and his wife) is a tremendous host. So polite, so cultural and it was a real pleasure to meet them. Highly, highly recomended. We will come back again (and again) for sure. This was a great, great experience.

Good location, friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment was clean, very spacious and had all amenities.

really spacious apartment, well-decorated with nice little touches on the walls. there was a new washing machine where we could wash our clothes well. nice sea view and very close to the beach. the owner gave us a few bunches of grapes as a welcome gift, which tasted great. The owner owns an olive farm and we bought a few bottles of olive oil from him.
