Dream Houses

The house is very convenient and well furnished. The balcony provides a nice place to sit and relax with a bit of view of the sea in the distance. It was an ideal place to stay for a couple of nights.

The parking space is quite small and a little tricky to get into so there is just need to be very careful.

Cleanliness and comfort

The position of the property on the only road into Lourdas making it very difficult to sit on the patio and relax. Nice apartment, wrong position and a long way from the beach.

The HERA apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The host was very attentive and answered our questions promptly. The proximity to the Lourdas Beach and a taverna is a nice feature.

The only two things which could be better: - Internet connection was slow however, this seems to be a general issue on the island - The parking space for this apartment is very small. We managed to fit a Suzuki Swift with some difficulties. Also, the property/parking lot is on a curve and getting the car in/out of the parking space is difficult if there is traffic.

The host is EXTREMELY informative and attentive. It is very clean and well-equipped apartment.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment on the ground floor. There was no sea view.

The host gave us full information about everything - restaurants and beaches near Dream Houses. The house was good equipped.

The terrace was very sunny in the morning and it was impossible to have a breakfast there and there is no space for four people to have a breakfast inside the house. There was noisy and it was impossible to sleep with open windows. There was unpleasant smell inside the house. We were Hera groundfloor house.

Very comfortable, nice beds, good air con, lovely big outdoor deck space, washing machine was very handy. The owner was very kind, responsive and helpful.

The road was a little noisy with trucks especially early morning

Nic large shady area to cool down after the hill from the beach. Hotter than normal this year so a bit of a drag but doable.

Building sites around so lots of trucks taking large excavation equipment, cranes , top soil and rubble from very early in a morning til late afternoon. Also young boys riding scooters and motorbikes revving and cars driving like idiots occasionally. Could have done without all of these. Would have liked a more regular linen change. Towels x3 changes and sheets x 2 in 11 nights. Disappointed I had to ask after 4 nights when the cleaner was coming. Despite this we love lourdas and had a really nice holiday.

Lovely and clean comfy beds lwashing machine and dishwasher, loads of great and helpful info from the owner

Didnt expect it to be up such a steep hill , so we had to use a taxi every night to get back , lourdas is ok but not many tavernas and bars so if i came back to kefalonia i would stay somewhere else
