Elounda Island Villas

Accueil : personne pour accueillir ,, clef posée sur une table , avec nom.. mélangée à d’autres arrivants La vue depuis une terrasse .

L.appartement ne correspondait pas à nos attentes.. déception totale , après un séjour réussi sur un site .. la précédente semaine .. cet appartement inconfortable , esprit Duplex , sur deux , même 3 étages , accès par « Échelles de meunier », marches bricolées en bois ou quelques marches en pierre pour accéder à un sous sol , sans garde corps , deux rideaux en coton , histoire de séparer espace nuit ,avec deux lits de 70 cm , matelas posés sur un support en crépi blanc .. chambre dernier étage même concept matelas posé sur support en crépi blanc laissant un espace. De 30 cm entre le lit , et un mur pour un côté , et 30 cm entre le lit et le surplomb sur deux étages ! Cuisine spartiate .. Ustensiles et électroniques ménager a minima .. dans leur jus !! Difficile de faire correctement un petit déjeuner , ou envisager d’avoir une vraie pause repas .. appartement à éviter pour les seniors , et couple avec enfants en bas âge .. !! A fuir ...

Die wunderschöne Lage auf der Halbinsel Spinalonga und doch nahe an Elounda, mit Meerblick, absoluter Ruhe und einer kleinen Küche, die Mitarbeiter waren auch sehr nett und das Frühstück gut wenn man es mal nicht selber machen wollte!

Das Bett war für uns ein bisschen schmal (1.40?)

The isolated location meant that there was no traffic noise at night. Being on the island facing Elounda, it provided a sunset view toward the town. Then after dark, the view toward the town was of a string of twinkling lights of Elounda. There was swimming in the bay right out in front of the hotel. A short walk away was swimming in the sea. The town with its shops and restaurants is a short walk away. The hosts were very welcoming and the atmosphere very relaxing and laid back.

At first I didn't realized that all the windows needed to be closed at night to keep out the mosquitos and noises of the other guests (which was not very bothersome. A couple of nights this made the unit a little warmer than I like. But once I learned the ropes, I was quite comfortable.

Lucas our host was super welcoming and helpful throughout our stay with great recommendations for activities in the area strongly recommend the breakfast at the local cafe We really enjoyed stargazing every night on the balcony at the facility

it was not so much of an issue at the time of our travels, however the lack of AC might be incommodating during the warmer periods. The suites do have multiple windows on both sides for ventilation.
