The location, the facilities, the host

- Nice location. 15-20ish minutes walk from large ferry port; 10ish minutes from port/town centre; 5 minutes walk from nearest beach - fab place to watch sunsets. 5 mins walk from 2 very large supermarkets and 3 or 4 great bakeries, plus lots of restaurants and tavernas within 5-7 mins. - Friendly host, was there to meet us and came during our stay to clean. Very clean and tidy. - Bathroom and shower all fairly new and very functional (no probs with shower curtain, smells etc mentioned in earlier reviews) - Multi-cooker worked well. - Washing machine great and has a super quick refresh wash available.

Lovely place but the following minor points raised in the interests of completeness; - double bed is pushed to the wall, so if 2 are sleeping in it, the person nearest the wall either needs to climb over the other or wriggle to the end of the bed to get in and out. (Shouldn’t normally be a problem, but during our stay that person was nursing a bad shoulder) - missing a few basic utensils that we’ve had in other island studios that make life nice and easy such as a good sharp knife for vegetables/bread, pair of kitchen scissors, slotted spoon. - kettle is an open one, rather than one with a lid and I personally couldn’t get the hang of it, and splashed hot water on my hand a couple of times. Note: this was probably due to my lack of dexterity and familiarity with the kettle rather than an actual issue.

Nice, clean, everything you needed. Washing machine a big plus if you stay for a longer period.

Location is good, close to everything. There are two big supermarkets at 5 minute. Home appliances works good.

The space is very small for two people, but with a minimal investment the comfort can be considerably increased. - For the shower cabin: a shelf on which you can place your shampoos and a shower head holder, so you can use both hands to wash, would be a great plus. - We did not find two cups or two plates from the same set in the cupboard; plates and cups of various sizes and models are collected, looks like an old man kitchen. - The toilet brush and the vegetable chopper are disgustingly worn. - There were only three hangers in the closet that two people had to use for a week. There are small things but they can make huge difference.
