Seldom have we seen such a well equipped and tastefully designed and fitted house. For once I can say that the images in booking.com match reality and that the real house has many more amenities and details than the pictures honour. The house is small, but space is maximized even with all the amenities. We were a couple with two older ladies and we nestled ourselves comfortably in, thanks to everything Irene has thought about to include in a home. From 5 star luxury bathroom amenities to beach umbrella to a fully, yes fully, equipped kitchen etc. Everything felt like new and well taken care for. Location was perfect. In the old town within the pathways where no car can access but close enough to the road and the fortezza. This house not only makes you feel at home but that you live in Crete because we had all we needed. Irene is also very responsive and went out of her way to help us. I am a picky traveler and wouldn't think twice where to stay when I return to Rethymno. The view from the terrace was to the fortezza. Beautiful.

No bathroom on the 2nd (rooftop) floor. The bathroom on the ground floor is small but manageable. 1st floor bathroom is excellent.
