#Cassandra Apt by halu! Apartments

Comfortable apartment with good big rooms, bedrooms and kitchen fully equipped. Water and snacks in the fridge. It is a really comfortable apartment.

1) Mosquitoes were the main problem. It would be nice to have some sort of electronic repellent with its own cartridges for guests to use. 2) Wi-Fi works but is problematic. We had pre-purchased local unlimited mobile internet (NOVA) for use in the city, but this mobile provider works well on the balcony and has problems inside rooms

The wi-fi was bad - but it was normal in all the City.

Centrally located. Restaurants and cafes nearby.

There was a lot of noise due to construction work in the floor downstairs with a lot of hammering and drilling starting from the morning. Obviously they reconstruct the full floor and this can last weeks, even months. When we send our complains to Halu apartments, the managing agency, they send us earplugs. This was ridiculous. As the apartment goes to the patio you do not have traffic noise but you have the noise of all the AC systems from the neighbors. Be aware of this when going in hot months with all AC systems running. Beside of this you have some noise from the airtraffic as the place is located in the entry path of Thessaloniki air port. In the kitchen some plates and tools were not clean. There were only two glasses for an apartment offered for 4 people. After our complains the send 4 more glasses.

The other key couldn't open the building door :(

- Great central location, close to Aristoteles Square, Roman Forum, market and (to be) metro. - Administrators great on follow-up - Lots of little businesses (backers, restaurants, supermarkets) in the vicinity or close nearby. The building where the apartment is located is quite old (honestly like most buildings in the center of Thessaloniki where we have stayed) and may need a bit of renovation. Two of the apartments at the first floor were undergoing renovation works, but this was not bothering us as workers started at around 08:30 and were finishing at around 15:30 to respect quiet hours.

This has nothing to do with the apartment itself, some of the guests do not respect the non smoking policy, and when we arrived there was an annoying cigarettes smell in the apartment which for us, nonsmokers, was quite unpleasant. I have suggested the owners to have smoking detectors reinstalled, as this may discourage this practice.

The location is great, the apartment is clean and cozy, equipped well, close to supermarket and laundry.

Air conditioning is central in the saloon therefore rooms must be kept open in order to get cooled- problematic with privacy. Thin blanckets are missing and can be helpfull..

Central spacious apartment, at the same time very quiet - we slept really well.

We did not find the iron in the apartment.

Positive and really nice staff, all the facilities you need are available in the apartment. It is very close to the city centre, just 10 min. walking. The apartment is very clean, and the beds are comfortable. There is a non-stop 24-hour shop just in 50 meters. This apartment is really worth it!
