Ariadni Villas Faliraki

It was spacious for two people, possibly 4 but not 6 (not enough indoor seating, 1x sofa and 1x chair). There was a dining table with 5 chairs but kitchen chairs so not comfy. The beds are large. There’s air conditioning. The outdoor area space. Quiet, not too far from centre but quiet enough to not hear it.

The outdoor area has two doors, one from the outside path and an internal garden door to next doors garden. One day I woke up and both were open. This was unsettling. The internal door was open due to the Gardener but as we were made aware of this, it still alarmed me. The other door didn’t lock at all. The pool isn’t heated so in April it’s cold. Only 1x big towel each. Stayed 5 nights do had to wash them and no washing machine pods so had to visit shop to do so. This apartment is meant to accommodate 6 but lacks kitchen items. I.e only one tall glass, two wine glasses etc. No instructions were to leave the bins -looked for them, could find them. Was asked to leave a 100 euro deposit which wasn’t in the ad or booking information. At check in, someone meets you, shows you round, leaves keys and tells you they will meet you when checking out. The day before we left, I initiated contact as hadn’t heard anything re checkout. Checkout representative was confirmed but he failed to attend. Had to lock up and leave the key in a safe place and let them know as understandably I wasn’t prepared to miss my flight. Had to chase my deposit refund.

Great location, only a short walk from the beach and city centre. Spacious outside area. Bathroom/shower worked well. No problem for the hosts that we stayed five people there, of no extra cost. Our second stay at Villa Ariadni.

Flat consist of only one room and bathroom. Air conditioned, but quite hot in the sleeping area close to the roof. Kitchen lacked a few important items.

The house and the garden are very charming. It offers a lot of privacy, it's very relaxing. It was easy to arrange the key hand-over with the host.

The wifi is so weak that it is a challenge to send a few photographs. There is a smart TV but this can basically not run on such network. The cleanliness could be a bit improved. I understand it is a rustic style house, but that should not mean spider webs on the couch table.
