Ocean Village Apartments

L'host è molto disponibile. Gli avevo chiesto un asciugacapelli più potente e me lo ha fatto avere in poche ore così come la culla per mia figlia che dalla prenotazione non risultava la mia richiesta, me l'ha portata prima di sera. La cucina inoltre è abbastanza attrezzata.

All'interno della casa non c'è un tavolo ma è posizionato fuori su un grande ballatoio/terrazzo in comune con l'appartamento accanto. Per chi vuole privacy non è la cosa migliore. I balconi sono pericolosissimi per bambini piccoli: parapetti in alcuni punti aperti ad un’altezza tale da far arrampicare facilmente un bambino e cadere giù. Inoltre, dalle foto l'appartamento che avevo selezionato era quello accanto con una cucina molto più grande e invece mi è stato dato un altro...non ho voluto fare storie perché in vacanza vorrei rilassarmi e perché la casa era comunque spaziosa ma in altre condizioni avrei avuto da ridire. Inoltre, nelle foto della struttura in giardino mostravano alcuni giochi per bambini (avendo una bimba di 2 anni la cosa aveva contribuito, seppur in minima parte, a farmi scegliere quel posto ma invece c'erano solo delle sdraio inutilizzate. Peccato perché con poco si potrebbe migliorare davvero tanto!

The location was excellent, close to shops and the beach. The room itself met our expectations. Good value for money. Overall, the room amenities matched the description.

The only things we would have hoped for were that the bed linen and towels had been changed halfway through our stay without needing to request it and that the floors had been cleaned at least once. Clean towels were only brought to us right before our last day.

Location is very good. The center of Heraklion is easly accesible by bus.

We had a major incident during the stay: the celing (plastering) of the terrace where we ate and our son played was infiltrated by water and a large piece (2m x 1m) fell on the table, shattering the glass. The owner said these things happen and his main interest was in getting the pictures for insurance. We felt he failed to see that we and the other people using the terrace were at risk of getting seriously hurt. A phone was destroyed beyond repair and the owner offered a cheaper Chinese replacement.

I liked everything, the location, the cleanliness, the flowers that bloom beautifully in the villa! Everything was just wonderful
