Paradise Apartment in Peiraiki

I have arrived at midnight to this appartement with my two kids aged 3 and 4,5 old. I have informed the owner that I will do a late check in because of a flight delay. On my arrival to the appartement I opened the safety box to find the appartements key, as I was told but the box was empty!!! I called the owner several times but he did not answer my calls. I found myself alone with two crying toddlers having no place to go… a nightmare! A guy working to a restaurant nearby (he told me that he is the owners friend) approached and told me that another couple with two kids picked up the key from the safe box two hours ago.. Apparently the flat has been double booked… I kept on calling the owner without response with my kids crying on the side walk for almost an hour. I have made several calls and found myself a double room in a hotel nearby. I finally managed to speak to the owner an hour later, asked him to come and pick us up with his car and bring us immediately to another hotel. I asked him to pay our 60 euros which he did. We ended up spending the night in a dirty double bed in a two stars hotel by the port, no kitchen etc.. Just a nightmare..The guy was totally confused he didn’t know who was sleeping in his flat.. The days after I kept on receiving messages from him giving me the instructions of how to open the safe box in order to pick up the key. Total confusion. STAY AWAY from this place

We rented the appartment for one night to catch the early morning ferry to Santorini. For that it was a good choice. I would not book it as a holiday apartment.

Great roomy apartment! Great location! Enjoyed staying here :)

It was really clean minus the smelly and broken dishwasher and the people were lovely

The dishwasher was broken and unusable, there was a couple of cockroaches who kept us awake all night when we had a really early start in the morning

The place itself was good enought , close to the sea , lots of restaurants around with good food.

Issue we had was the shower. When touching its delivers a electric shock. Definitely very unsafe and dangerouse (Water and electric is not a good mix at all ) report it to the owner he tryed to fix it , but never done . Had to wash myself and a kids in a sink. The Reason i rewiev them 4 is simple , they knew about the problem before we came in , as just found a rewiev from the previouse PPL, WHO been there before us . Just to let You know it could kill any of us but its look like the owner didnt care at all. Sad as the place really nice.
