Aristotelous Boarding House

Situata n una zona strategica a pochi passi da Piazza Aristotele.

Clean, large apartment, kind and friendly host, excellent positioning in the very center of Thessaloniki.

The showers are a tad small, if you're a very large fellow, like I am.

The location is very central. The house keeper is a very kind and nice lady.

Unfortunately the house is generally speaking very poorly decorated with very old furniture (except the fridge which was oddly standing in the middle of a room). The shower ‘room’ was probably a study or a bedroom before oddly decorated with bedroom curtains and a table in the room. The toilet however is situated in another place next to the shower room and literally your knees bang on the door when you are using the toilet! The wash basin is so tiny, you cannot wash your face properly. You bang your forehead either to the faucet or to the shelf at each attempt. Plus you have to position yourself half tilted to be able to both stand and wash your face and you have wet feet every time! Strangely, all doors are from see through glass and you have to play hide and seek when changing your clothes. The accomodation facilities are not sufficient at all for a group of 7. No proper kitchen, with only few amenities in a room tucked on a shelf. No proper dining area to share with the group. If you close both of the doors at the entrance hall, the kettle and toaster are in one room and the fridge in the other. None of us from the group had witnessed such oddly and strangely ‘undecorated’ house before.
