"The host and the apartment are a gem."

Our host met us with the keys at the entrance to the garage where he offered us one of three spaces. He accompanied us up to the apartment to explain a few things. As he is a tour guide he offered us many options for dining, beaches, and sites to see. He very friendly and easy to get to know. We took his advise and faired well. We felt cared for and should anything have happened that we needed help in any way he would have come to our aid.

There was nothing negative about our stay. But for some people walking back from the center of town to the apartment could be more than they would be willing or able to do. The apartment is on a hill. We are walkers in our late 60's and it was no problem for us even in 90 degree heat. I hope that puts it in its proper perspective.

"Great stay in Argostoli, great value for money, will surely return if given the chance!"

Good location, great value for money, underground or on-street safe parking, attentive owners (Gerasimos and his partner have been very kind and welcomed us with a stocked fridge: gems, butter, bottle of wine, juice...even with a cake!), warm Greek hospitality. Also Gerasimos has recommended us a few authentic restaurants (all were great, no turist traps, as used by any local)
