Appartement pratique, accès facile, logement propre et fonctionnel.

Le lit d'appoint est vraiment limite. Notre fils de 5 ans n'a pas pu dormir dessus déplié c'etait une planche de bois avec un matelas de 3 cm. L'équipement de la cuisine ne permet pas de faire vraiment à manger, plus pour réchauffer.

The property is located next to the metro station and a short 20ish minute walk to the waterfront. Rooms are well-equipped and the balcony has views of the city and the water. There are chairs and a table to enjoy the outdoors. The laundry facilities is a big plus, bed is soft and comfortable and the rooms are kept clean.

The physical building is in a state of disrepair and abandonment. It is only these apartments that have been renovated around 2018. Upon entering at night, it feels like stepping into an abandoned, deteriorating structure. It feels like someone could jump out at you from the numerous shadows at any moment. To make matters worse, the hallway light on the 7th floor should remain on, preventing residents from exiting the elevator into darkness, especially since the building itself already look abandoned. While I understand that the host doesn’t own the entire building, they should at least make an effort to improve the appearance of the entrance and lobby, ensuring that they are not so dilapidated. My second major issue was the incessant noise. I should have paid more attention to the reviews. Growing up in a city, I’ve grown accustomed to traffic noise, but this was different. There’s a water pump right outside room 8 (which impacts rooms 7 and 8 the most), and it sounds like a vacuum cleaner is running all night, right next to your bed. The walls are so thin that I could hear every word my neighbors said, and even the sound of their pee stream going into their toilet. It’s not like muffled noise; the wall cavities seem to amplify it. To make matters worse, the elevator room is directly above, and every time it’s used, it fills the room with a loud mechanical motor sound. And to top it off, construction is still going on all day, from morning until evening. It felt like they were drilling and sawing right behind the bedroom wall. I was wearing earplugs that I use to block out loud noises, but I was still woken up by every sound. At under 150€ for 3, nights I can be okay with these issues, but any higher and there’s bound to be better options.
