The intercom rings every time someone opens the door downstairs. Neighborhood is a bit noisy

Large, spacious apartment in fantastic location

Appartment is at a great location.

Overall good unit but only one of the bedrooms had air-conditioning and the AC unit in the living room did not work properly- it cool down t0 26C, not lower. The temperature outside was over 100F (40C) and it was very uncomfortable to sleep or stay in the unit during the day. The host was very nice and offered us another unit with AC but at a higher price and farther from the sea and the main street, so not really comparable. We had already unleaded all of our luggage and parked the car and paid for 3 days so moving to a different area was not really an option. I wish we new about the AC ahead of time.

Proximity to tourist attractions

Our stay here was very disappointing due to the lack of a working airconditioner in the lounge room. This airconditioner serves two of the three bedrooms so it was way too hot to sleep. We called the host and were assured they’d call in the morning. No call came. We again called in the afternoon and finally a technician came. He said there was nothing wrong which clearly was not the case as the one bedroom with aircon was cool while the Lounge was hot. The aircon was working as a fan not cooling just blowing hot air. Our host insisted it was working and then refused to take our calls. We had booked another apartment with this group and that one was fine. No offer to compensate us for our discomfort which really ruined our trip as we could not sleep or rest in the apartment due to the heat. We have stayed in many apartments over the years and understand that things go wrong but the attitude of this host shows that if things go wrong they just don’t care.
