The warm welcome from Evi. The great generous Greek hospitality. The beautiful view from our room. The balcony where all Earth's stresses evaporates. The excellent location. The attention to detail of our hostess and her husband. Excellent value for money.

Everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful time in Agia Marina, Aegina from the 8th to the 13th of Oktober 2023. I recommend staying at the Sunrise Flora apartments without reservations.     Evi is a wonderful woman who receives you with her famous delicious lemonade and cookies and makes sure you settle in well in no time to enjoy your well deserved vacation.   We came back from our daily swimming activity (the water was warm and the beach bars  with sunbeds still in operation) to a clean apartment,  freshly made bed, clean bathroom, removed trash and fresh towels. We felt very well taken care of.   We actually don't remember ever paying so little for such a perfect stay. Come to think of it...(asking myself how they do it and shaking my head).    Another thing, the view from our apartment balcony. It was spectacular. Just sitting there early in the morning and in the afternoons/evenings enjoying the view of the ocean while sipping a drink or two screamed, vacation.   Last but not least, finding a fruit basket, a bottle of wine and birthday wishes waiting for me on the kitchen countertop when I came back from the daily swimming was a perfect surprise. The  thoughtful gesture (which should not be taken for granted) really made me feel very special on my birthday. Thanks once again!   There are lots of beatiful sights in Aegina worth visiting on a day trip. Having taken part on a 4 day wedding marathon in Athens, we were too tired to explore much. We found time though to visit the nearby temple of Aphaia. Since the temple is on a steep hill, we went there by taxi and later walked back to Agia Marina, following the beaten path on the right side of the fire station/bus station.    We are telling all our friends and relatives about our amazing stay in Agia Marina. Sunrise Flora felt like home away from home. We will be back.

Our apartment was in 1st floor with a large terrace looking to the sea. Rooms and furniture are simple, but we did not miss anything. There were useful details like mosquito net above the bed. Evi and her husband took great care with everything and whenever we needed something they where ready to help us, they even came with small surprises and did everything to make us have a good stay. Rooms were cleaned often and the whole property was in very good condition. It is close to the port and centre, restaurants and supermarket are around the corner, to the beach you walk 10 min by feet.

As we had a baby in the group perhaps a high chair and cot would be good

Evi was great with any questions in the run up, and also sorted out a mistake I made with our booking with no issues. Evi and her husband are on site all the time which was great for when we had any questions. The location was ideal, several tavernas on the same road, less than 5 min walk to the beach (if use the shortcut where there is a bit of a steep hill) and nearest mini supermarket (though if buying a lot of things the other supermarket that is farther away had more choice and was cheaper). Our room had the facilities we needed to cook a few meals and a large balcony with a lovely view.
