Kato Stalos Beach

Ett litet hotell med inte så många gäster. Enkelhet där man i stort sett kunde komma och gå som man ville och närheten till vattnet. Rent på rummet. Solsängar ingick med hotellet. Jag var nöjd med hotellet för det priset och hade inte större förväntningar.

We had a wonderful stay at this family-run apartment hotel. Do not expect it to be a luxury resort, but if you are lokking for something more valuable, you will find it here: genuine hospitality, spotless cleanliness, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is fantastic, right on the sandy beach of Stalos. We loved being able to step out of the hotel and straight onto the beach. The complimentary sunbeds and umbrellas for guests were a great bonus and made our beach days perfect. Everything we needed was within easy walking distance, including supermarkets, restaurants, and a bus stop. The bus ride to Chania city center took only about 10–15 minutes, making it easy to explore the area. What truly made our stay special was the family who runs the hotel. Their warm and authentic Greek hospitality was exceptional, and they were always kind, helpful, and attentive. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly six days a week, towels changed every day you need, the bed linen is also changed several times a week. We are going to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront stay with a personal touch.

A few minor things could be improved, although none of them affected our overall enjoyment of the stay. The kitchenette is quite compact and equipped with the essentials (fridge, kettle, and hotplate), but there are only a few utensils available, so preparing elaborate meals might be a challenge. Then again, with so many good restaurants nearby, we didn't feel the need to cook at all! The bathroom is functional, but the shower curtain seemed determined to join us every time we showered, and some water inevitably found its way onto the floor. Fortunately, the room was cleaned daily, so this was never really an issue. We also would have appreciated a few shelves or drawers for clothes, as storage was mostly limited to hangers. Another small quirk was the placement of some electrical outlets, which occasionally required a bit of creativity to use. These are really minor observations rather than complaints. The excellent location, spotless cleanliness, beachfront setting, and, above all, the wonderful hospitality of the family running the hotel far outweighed any of these small inconveniences. We would gladly stay here again.

L'emplacement les pieds dans l'eau. Hotel familial. Le personnel très gentil. Chambre qui pourrait avoir un petit rafraîchissement.

Le petit inconvénient était la douche, l'eau coule forcément à côté, jusqu'aux toilettes et au lavabo.
