Kaerati Apartments

The view, the quiet - you couldn't hear any traffic, just the boats sometimes in the harbour. Apartment very well equipped with quiet Aircon, comfortable bed (on the firm side), crockery, glasses, etc. Coffee machine, ice cube tray!! Extremely well serviced - Michael picked us up with our bags from the port and drove us round again at the end of our stay. He also brought breakfast cake every morning. The apartment was very well cleaned every day. We ate out locally every evening - restaurants are good, and cheap - half the price of Sifnos.

Very minor - the shower is over the bath, so stepping into it might be a problem for some. Also, there were no sunbeds on the local beach, (which is backed by a road, though it's not very busy) so you need to travel a bit for a beach day. There are boats that go to a couple of other beaches. This is not of course the fault of the apartment, which was excellent!

What a beautiful and magical place to stay! From the moment I arrived, Kaerati Apartments felt like a home away from home. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to the gorgeous view every morning was truly special. A special thank you to Michael, who was an incredible host. He was so welcoming, kind, and accommodating throughout my stay, making me feel more like a guest in a friend’s home than a visitor. His hospitality made all the difference. The location is perfect,ideally situated between Katapola Port and the stunning Maltezi Beach, both within easy walking distance. And honestly, don’t let the 50 steps put you off! They are a great way to stay balanced and fit after enjoying all the delicious food Katapola has to offer. Amorgos is a magical island, and Kaerati Apartments was the perfect place to experience it. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back.

The studio is spacious, clean and beds very comfortable, and beautifully decorated with colourful prints. It is definitely worth the 50 steps for the view from the balcony! Michael is a generous host, quick to respond to all requests and delivers cake every morning! Really lovely place to stay in Katapola.

Be prepared for a trek up to the apartments but an excellent stay

Vi ble hentet av verten på havnen. Han var svært imøtekommende gjennom hele oppholdet og ga mye nyttig informasjon. Fra terrassen var det vakker utsikt mot byen og sjøen, og det var fint å sitte der om kvelden. Vi trivdes veldig godt både på hotellet og stedet som vi kan anbefale.

We loved our stay at Kaerti, our apartment was comfortable, spotlessly clean and had all the facilities we could have needed. Michael was an exceptional host, he collected us from the port, he bought us cake for breakfast every morning and helped with car hire. The location was perfect for exploring with plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance.

Nothing!

Was a bit concerned about the steps up to the hotel when I booked our room, but Michael, our host, provided transport to and from the port upon arrival and departure and helped with the luggage, which took all the worry out of managing the steps. The hotel itself was perfect as was our host. Michael addressed our every concern, provided us with a list of local restaurants, helped organize taxis, delivered delicious cakes to our room every morning, and even provided a walking stick for my friend who had injured her knee. We enjoyed having a bit more space with a kitchen and sitting on the balconey watching the sunset. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Amorgos.

There was nothing not to like.
