villa Zinovia

The villa is beautiful from the moment you walk through the doors into the traditional pebbled courtyard. We were met by the hosts and shown the apartment- everyone was very friendly and helpful! The apartment itself is beautifully set out, with traditional Lindian beds plus a day-bed style sofa that was also very comfortable. There are plates, bowls, cups, glasses etc; everything you need for going self-catering. The bathroom is tiled and a good size with a shower that runs nice and hot! There’s a back terrace for hanging clothes out on which has a stunning view of the Acropolis, as do most of the windows in the apartment. The front terrace is larger with a table, chairs, and large parasol. There’s also the option to sit in the lovely shady courtyard although we spent a lot of time out so didn’t get much chance to do this. Ms. Zinovia herself was there every day and always spoke to us. She was particularly kind with our young child who had a birthday while we were there - thank you so much! The location is ideal: close enough to bars, shops, and restaurants so that everything is just a few steps away, yet positioned away from the areas of main traffic so it’s never too noisy. We really enjoyed the sound of the hustle and bustle especially some of the end of season parties. Top spots nearby: Atmosphere Bar Agostinos restaurant Meliá - great for breakfast! The room could have been better ventilated. A fan would have been a great alternative to the AC

Lovely traditional property in a great location. A comfortable, family run enterprise within a couple of minutes' walk from the main stretch of restaurants and shops. The family are very nice too (grandma in particular who lives on site)

Everything was perfect. Location, facilities, room, courtyard and especially Zinovia was a great hostess. Thank you for everything. Having breakfast in the mornings and having quiet time in the evenings in the courtyard were so valuable. We felt like we were visiting a family member of us. She offered us fruits in the evenings and coffee in the mornings. She was very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to see her again.

Authentic. Cool in the heat. Basc room service each day, which we weren’t expecting and we’ve had clean towels and bed linen after only 3/4 days. Greek charm throughout in terms of traditional apartment and the owners too

Nice location, quiet, clean. The grandma there is nice as well. We had a lovely time.

Great location with a short walk into main area. room was very clean and well kept. Bed was comfortable. Owner very friendly always had a smile and wave also checked on us regularly to ensure we were having a good holiday and sleeping well. communication sometimes a bit difficult at times, Google translate helped. We hope to return soon.

Sometimes the surrounding area was a bit noisy, dogs barking and other street noises however what can you expect in a town central area.

Loved our stay, central location in a traditional Greek accommodation. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels. A spacious room with a nice high ceiling. Excellent for the money.
