Eclipse Tales Milos, Port Area

The design and layout was really nice. Close to the port/restaurants/cafes. It was clean and tidy and the staff were super friendly and helpful. You also had a view of the ocean, and can easily find a space to park a rental car.

The jacuzzi was a bit smaller than I thought it would be with really only room for 1 person. The jets didn’t work so it was more like a small bath.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, Lage angenehm direkt am Hafen aber dennoch ruhig, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und spontan und günstig ein Auto mieten können für einen Tag (bei anderen Autovermietungen hätten wir 30€ mehr gezahlt).

Very good communication, gave lots of suggestions/information about the island, transport to room (which was so helpful with luggage), clean and tidy. Very close walking to shops and restaurants.

This accomodation was beautiful. Plenty of space in the room. Very clean and perfect location with a car park close by for the ATVs.

Unfortunately, we could hear everything that the people above us were doing.

1 day prior to arrival we were sent a booking.com message from the host stating we had been moved to a different location due to an overbooking. We were told that we were “upgraded” and provided the name of an alternate accomodation owned by the same travel agency. On arrival, we were then taken to a different property (not the 4 star Eclipse Tales or the 4 star accomodation we had been told we were moved to). We had originally booked this property (Eclipse Tales) due to the size of the apartment and the facilities as it featured a courtyard and hot/cool tub which suited us to be able to spread out and cool down as 2 friends travelling together for a month. On arrival we were taken to our new property (also owned/managed by Athena travel) which was a tiny apartment across from the main Port. This meant no courtyard and also meant we were now situated above noisy restaurants and alongside a nightclub that played music until 6am on Saturday night. On top of the disappointment of the facilities we were moved to last minute that did not suit our preferences we also had an issue with the digital key pad lock for our room which meant we were locked out of our apartment in the afternoon. We spent 2 hours trying to contact the host on several provided contact numbers during business hours (3-5pm Friday afternoon) until we eventually had someone return our call and help us. Following 2 nights with no sleep we read reviews of the Athena owned accomodation we had been moved to and were unsurprised to see several complaints about the noise. This alternate room was rated 3 stars, not at all an “upgrade” that we were told we had been provided.

Spacieux, confortable, lumineux et très bien équipé. Pas de bruit
