Mitropoleos Suite

Great location and excelent host!

The alternative accommodation that was provided was fine.

We did not stay at Mitropoleos Suite. When we arrived, the key was not in the lock box. We called the owner and were told that someone would bring us the key. We waited for about 15 mins, then phoned again. We were told that there had been a mix up and we were directed to an alternative accommodation. It was a 15 minute walk through the busy cobbled streets pulling our luggage with us - not ideal.

No running water early in the morning, the camp bed set for the 6 th person creaked loudly and was unstable. Lift not working. Windows difficult to open close, air conditioning very old and situated in the hall way so only really cooled down one room, door on bathroom was difficult to slide shut/ open. No water on arrival in fridge.

Great, spacious, clean apartment in an ideal and central location

Great location, right in the heart of the Old Town. Pleasant sitting room and lovely balcony with nice views.

No washing machine, looking at reviews not been one for a long time. Elevator not working, again looks like for a long time, 3 floors to drag cases. Tiny bathroom, cracked sink and tiles, rusty shelves. Kitchen needs upgrade and cooker not safely wired, socket hanging out of wall. No storage at all in one bedroom, just one wardrobe in the second bedroom as storage for the whole apartment.

Great location, everything is walkable. Really lovely to have a balcony with a sea view. There is a full sized kitchen and a cute living room. Our stay was good value for money and we'd definitely stay here again. There is also a lift (although it was being serviced during our stay) which could be useful for some potential guests who like the look of the apartment but don't like too many stairs.

The bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade but was perfectly fine for a short stay.

As 5 family adults (29 to 69yo) and on a budget trip we LOVED this place. Totally splendid location :) Arrived about 8pm and went straight out for a swim before changing for dinner. Watched some football while we ate at a taverna nearby then strolled the old town lanes that we love so much. The apartment was very clean, the host switched on and easy to communicate with, easy check in, beds comfy, outlook from every window fabulous, cute balcony with partial sea view (HUGE Virgin cruise ship out there made us even more happy to be in our cute apartment feeling like locals). Small but good bathroom with shower that was not just the old Greeky hand held style, good kitchen (not needed but noted for future), one good aircon kept whole place cool when we needed it (mindful of power bills), lift in building was great for our luggage. When leaving walked about 13 minutes to get to Setti Venti cafe for brekky before heading to Paxos. Would very much love to return and stay a week. Many thanks to our fab host xx
