DORA'S APARTMENTS STUDIO 1

The location is good near the center

We had difficulties finding the apartment. There's no apt number. They should put one. We spent 30 minutes going around & people didnt know the place which is just near the main road. They should put the name Dora Apt & the number of the apartment.

The property was central to everything we from the port at midnight and was able to walk there with our suitcases. The apartment had everything you needed including a washing machine, mini fridge, oven and a Briki for Greek coffee. Dora was great at communicating on WhatsApp and showing us videos how to open etc. Dora’s apartments is great you have your own mini house for a few days and if you are planning on exploring Corfu you should stay here. We weren’t there for the hotel experience but the experience of the city.

We were abit upset with the internet connection, even though the wifi box was in front of the TV the connection was horrible. I tried to do work and on multiple occasions the internet disconnected. As we were on the ground floor with no balcony our clothes had to dry inside which would leave the room smelling like mould as there was only one window. We also didn’t want to leave the window open when we weren’t home because anyone could easily come in. Being two young female travellers there were times when we felt abit unsafe only on the ground level. The whole town of Corfu is extremely safe!! Unfortunately there is also now a climate tax aka tourist tax which we didn’t know we had to pay until we were there. This was about 8€ a day which was a significant amount of money as we were there for a week. If we knew about this it would have helped us plan for it in our budget.

Great location in the heart of the old town down a little side street. Quiet . Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Very comfortable bed & great power shower.

Noisy fridge. But we just unplugged it.

Had everything we needed - toiletries and tea and even left us slippers and chocolates! Location was fantastic, right in the heart of the old town with bars and markets galore. Close to the port. Was easy to find and was sent videos and clear check in instructions so communication with host was not a problem.

Only 1 small issue - apartment wasn't very well ventilated. It was clean so not an issue of smell but after running a shower or going for a swim our clothes and room stayed damp for a bit but there is an air con so we ran the dehumidifier while we were out to help with that which did the job.

Smelt very musty and was quite small.

Brilliant location, fully kitted out apartment The host was fantastic and really helpful.

We should have booked a room with a balcony, our room has a window which opened onto a narrow alley.
