We met the gentleman who runs the place out front. He showed us to our room, gave us the rundown on where everything was within it, and offered to provide us with recommendations for things to do around the island in the front office after we were settled in.

John was a great host. He gave us brilliant tips and was so welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect, only a 7 minute walk to the port and bus stop, with many restaurants and shops in the area. There are also beaches within walking distance. The room was clean and had everything we needed.

The bathroom was small and it was tricky to shower in such a tight space. It would be good to have a higher hook for the shower head so that you don’t have to hold it the whole time. My husband found the bed a bit too hard but it was okay for me.

Giannis & Maria were great hosts, always on hand to offer advice and guidance on trips for the day, and local restaurants/ cafes The property is located only 5 min level walk from the main plaka , where the shops & restaurants were located. Clean, well run, good WiFi, and description of the booked room as per the actual room. Well recommended.

A small gripe was the size of the shower compared to the size of the bathroom. However adequate for our purposes, a bigger shower would have made this property really stand out.

Bad that we had to take a taxi (25€) to the hotel. Distance between airport and accommodation is only 4 km.

John and his lovely family were the most amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome. John showed us all the places to go on the island, helped us to rent a quad and even booked a boat tour for us - which was the highlight of our trip so far!! Location was also amazing!

Location was great, close to the port and cafes/restaurants. Room is spacious and bright. Maria & John were super nice hosts, made us feel welcome and John gave us great recommendatios for activities and places.

Just a minor thing, the shower is only hand held.. not really an issue if you shower quickly.

Everything was supplied and the room was neat. It is so near the center it is accessible by foot, which is very nice. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful when in need! Would come back here 100%!
