Avra Apartments

The hosts Stelios and Natasa were very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. They booked taxis for us to and from the airport and recommended good places to eat. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable with very nice touches such as a coffee machine, fresh coffee, fruit and wine. The apartment was in a nice quiet location about 15 minutes walk to the main beach. There were less busy beaches also about 15 minutes away in the opposite direction.

The process to get taxis

Nice spot for an easy stay for a few days. It has all you need, like a well-equipped kitchen, including coffee, tea, fruit. And a good shower plus towels.

Not liking is a big statement, though parking space is a bit tight (small car is ok but larger car is hard to fit) and there's no sofa inside. And it would be nice to have a proper space in the bathroom to put down your toiletry bag.

The property was clean. The owner patiently waited for our late arrival.

Everything was perfect with fabulous views,very clean and comfortable.Stelious was a perfect host explaining everything we needed to know about the apartment and about the local area.

Such a nice apartment. Recently renovated but with a very nice blend of old (windows, doors and stairs) and new (floor, painted, USB-C sockets in the walls etc.) and super well equipped. The vibe in the apartment was sort of "Mediterranean" New Yorker apartment. We stayed in the two-bedroom "Sirakosa" apartment with sea view. We came here after a 2-week stay in Platanias, coming to Kalyves was a much more relaxed feeling and less touristy. Natasa was a great host as well.

Nothing to complain about but I do recommend having a rental car if you stay here and want to go anywhere else than Kalyves.

We stayed in the Sirokos apartment, which was immaculately presented and decorated. The beds are very comfortable, as is the whole property, which was cleaned every 4 days during our stay. The property has filtered tap water, so there is no need for bottled water and the associated plastic waste, which is a fantastic plus point. The owners are on hand and extremely helpful. We hope to be back soon.

Very quit and cosy. We had a very nice terrace with sea view. The bed and pillows very comfortable. Even the bed sofa was comfortable and big. The kitchen had all that you need.

Maybe that it was very light when the sun rise for the one who sleeps in bedsoffa.

We really enjoyed our stay at Avra Apartments. Everything was absolutely amazing: the location, the apartment, the amenities and the cleanliness. The apartment was fully equipped with everything making our stay very confortable and the hosts were really hospitable and kind, offerring even toys for our toddler, which was a nice bonus to our stay. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay and we would recommend the place to our friends and family in the future! Natasa and Stelios: thanks for the filoxenia!
