Location, pet friendly, happy and helpful host

A bit difficult to find.

Quiet location not far from the centre of Sparta. A friendly and helpful host and two lovely dogs in the garden.

There are just a few steps which could probably be a problem for people with mobility issues but it wasn't the case for us.

Host was very nice and accommodating.

If the instructions stated that you needed a I let the hot water warm up after you flip the breaker switch.

I stayed at this accommodation for a night in Sparti. It was about 12-15 min walk from the Sparti bus station which was really convenient. Host was super cooperative and was responding real quick for all the enquiries. The accommodation is literally at 6-7 min walk from the main market. Plenty of shops and restaurants, supermarkets etc etc are there. The museum of spartans is 10 min walk as well which is almost on the edge of main market. There is a tourist point built on a road close to the museum which can give you all the maps and instructions you are going to need to explore the area. Accommodation itself was like a self-contained studio. It was clean, you have stove and oven there. All required utensils but there is no kettle there you will have to use a metal traditional kettle on the stove to heat up water for tea and coffee. There are two friendly dogs outside in the yard that you need to cross in order to get to the accommodation which was a bit of challenge for me but in the end I realised dogs were just a bit curious of my presence otherwise they are lovely and friendly.

I wish that space to take shower had an enclosure, its a shower curtain that keeps clinging to your body as that cubical is a bit tiny. Other than that everything else was perfect.

Two friendly dogs on the yard were really nice. And the owner was in some way charming.

This place got an 8 on the booking. I would think hard if I would give it an 6. This apartment is modest. If compared with other 3 we stayed in on our travel over Peloponese where we payed the same per night, this is as a student room. You can sleep here. If you have a dog this is probably very good idea as you don't worry about damages. Don't try to come till the port with rented car as the road is very narrow and there is no place to turn (there is a parking close).

Near the center, very nice and supportive host, quiet place, domestic feeling.

first impression was a little disappointing and access to the hous is troublesome. But you have your own parking place in front of the house.
