Amazing Penthouse next to the sea!

Giannis is the best Host and i recommend to anyone if they want to visit krete and Agios Nicolaos

A very friendly reception at 2 a.m. in the night because our plane was delayed.We were welcomed with a large smile.The appartment was cozy,clean and some little things like water and fruits in the fridge,candles and coffee tabs were waiting for us.From the balcony we had a superbe view on the sea,the location is perfect as there are bars,restaurants,the beach and all commodities nearby.We had an excellent stay,thank you Ioannis and mama 😀

The apartment had everything needed and with a nice terrace. Close to the center of the city and to the beach. The host was also very kind and we will definetely come back next year!

It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

Curtains don't block out all the sunlight, I woke up at the first light. I had to stick the curtains with adhesive tape, but it always came loose because the air conditioning is directly opposite. At the slightest wind, the front door swings back and forth (it does not close properly at the bottom, it is also a thin door so you hear all the noise in the hallway) The toilet did not flush from day 1, I had to remove the porcelain cover to flush. The apartments looks bigger on the pictures. Out of a total of 5 nights I only stayed 3 nights, I do not recommend this apartment for sensitive sleepers. Normally I never give a bad review, but since the owner denies everything on Whatsapp and does not even admit 1 point above, I decided to write a bad review.

The apartment had a narrow view of the sea between nearby buildings but we found it relaxing to end our day or start our morning on the terrace watching the sea and looking at the sky. The kitchen has nearly everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. The location was great. The apartment was a short walk from three beaches with several more within 15-20 minutes walk. Nearby there was a small shop with fresh fruits and vegetables, two coffee shops, a bakery, a meat shop, and several grocery stores. The central tourist area near the lake was only 10 minutes walk away.

The apartment is on the 5th floor up stairs that are very hot during the summer. Carrying luggage or any bags up and down these stairs in the heat can be exhausting. We also had problems with the power going out twice that required an electrician to come out and change something outside the apartment which took time away from our vacation. We also had problems with the terrace for that required someone to come out and change the mechanism. The kitchen was well equipped but we could have used a better knife. There is no window in the kitchen and it was very difficult the move the air in and out so the heat and food smells stayed, even with the air conditioner on. We stayed for 16 days and there was no cleaning service offered.

Well equipped kitchen, all you will need for most things. Lots of nice little touches that make life easy for you on arrival. A very comfortable bed with good pillows. All was lovely and clean. A good sized balcony/ outside area. Quiet, we were not disturbed at all.

The apartment is located centrally with a short walk to the beach, supermarkets and restaurants, it is well equipped with everything you need for your stay, beds are comfortable, Wi Fi is good and there is a spacious private balcony area with a sea view. The host Giannis communicated with us in a timely manner both leading up to and during our stay and was there on time to meet us after our drive from the airport. He was very friendly, supportive and accommodating of our requests. Very good value for money I would stay here again in future.

Lovely apartment in a quiet area with all the facilities you could need Great host and family who were very helpful with all aspects of our arrival, stay and departure. Would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.
