Great location ,Maria picked us up and dropped us off at the port .

This is my second time at this place. Clean, quiet and breathtaking view. The people who run it are so nice and they came pick us from the port.

The lack of window nets that lead to loads of mosquitoes coming in. The second you open the window they will come in! (Day or night)

The friendly owner came to pick us up at the port, which was very helpful, as the walk up to the room would've been a bit steep with luggage. The room itself was great: very clean, spacious enough, and with a lovely balcony overlooking the beautiful bay. We loved having breakfast there and enjoying the spectacular view. There was also a little drying rail for clothes on the balcony, which came in very handy. The cleaner was very friendly and accommodating even though we left our room a bit late on the first day and she had to rush in to do her job before clocking off. Saw her every day and she was always smiling and happy to see us. Also did a very thorough job! Have to say the towels were exceptionally soft and comfortable. One of the owners/managers also came by after we got confused about how the kettle worked to make sure everything was okay. (The kettle worked great; we were just being stupid and couldn't figure it out at first.) The walk down to the main road and beach was very quick and easy (and pretty). (Be aware, though, that the walk back up is steep, so factor that into your planning.) In short, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this option to anyone.

Only minor things: The wifi was a bit unreliable, but I suspect this might be an island-wide issue, as we had the same experience elsewhere. We didn't bring this up with the manager, as it wasn't a massive problem; I'm just mentioning it here in case that's a deal-breaker for anyone. There's free wifi in the village that also sometimes reaches the rooms, so we ended up just flicking between the two. There also seems to be quite an active insect population on the island, so bear this in mind. We got quite badly bitten on the first night sitting outside. (The room came with a plug-in mosquito repellent, but we ended buying something to use outside as well. That seemed to help.) This obviously isn't a criticism of the room! Just mentioning it so other guests can be prepared. :) These really are small issues, though. We had a great time overall.
