Baou House 1

We really liked the view and the peacefulness of the location. The size was great for our group of 5. The owner was very attentive, helpful and gave us excellent suggestions for activities, driving routes and restaurants. The owner provided umbrellas to use, as it rained for part of our stay. The main plateia is easily reached within a few minutes walk.

There was nothing we did not like.

The apartment is great. Clean, comfortable and with a great view from the terrace. The owner is amazing. He greeted us before entering the super narrow and steep street. Send us any information about Metsovo and the area. Thank you!!!

I don't know where the problem was, maybe the shower faucet, but the hot water was definitely running out too fast for one person to have shower.

Beautiful, fresh and very well equipped apartment. It worked super well for 1 night stay and it would work very well for longer time. Amazing view, great location, wonderful and friendly hosts that made sure we had everything we needed. The “little extras” provided in the kitchen were very appreciated!

The apartment is very spacious, spotlessly clean and offers a stunning view. The kitchen is well equipped. It was also very quiet. The location is a bit south of the busy center which means no parking or noise issues. It‘s only 6 minutes on foot to the central square. The host George is just the best! He went out of his way to help me get there and helped with parking my car. He even greeted me with a welcoming dish when he learned I was hungry.

nice, tidy and cozy apartment. great mountain view. the host is very kind and helpful. dinner was on the house. the environment is awesome. Metsovo is an old and authentical mountain town with various tourist attractions (moreover in winter as it has a few ski slopes). i would recommend visiting the local orthodox churches/monasteries and also some trekking in which you could easily meet on the coastal paths turtles and squirrels walking around undisturbed by the human presence. several indicators signal the bear (ursa) presence but luckily i didn't meet him. the local people are very hospitable and genuine calling themselves as 'vlachi' (similar to aromani). of course, local food is not to be missed.

The apartment is in walking distance from the center, very comfortable and clean. The owner was great, came to pick us up from the entrance and showed us the way. Was very helpful with information about the area and even brought us some great vegetables from his garden. Highly recommended. Note - the whole village is built on a slopes, one needs to go down stairs to get to the apartment. The apartment was wonderful for us but may be problematic for those who have difficulty with stairs.
