Down Town Sitia ii

It's exactly in the center, very relaxed,clean, very nicely decorated and comfortable! Polydoros is a great host, he proposed to us many things to do and to visit! We ll come again!

Large apartment with all comforts, Polidoro, the owner, gave us very useful information about music festival, beaches, restaurants.

This is a beautiful, well equipped apartment in the centre of Sitia. The owner is a great guy who couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Very good value for money and is streets ahead of your usual Greek studios or rooms. I would recommend and stay there again.

The only slight downside is because of it's location right in the centre of Sitia there is some road noise. The double glazed windows do a good job of keeping out 90% but you will need the aircon overnight ( which is free).

Downtown Sitia apartments are centrally located in Sitia close to all the facilities this Greek port town has to offer. The apartment is located on the first floor with a large veranda whereby one can relax with an ouzo observing the everyday working life of the town. The apartment is cosy and consists of a bedroom, kitchen/living room plus a bathroom with a walk in shower. All facilities are provided in the way of utensils, fridge/freezer, stove, tv and of course air con, in fact one can easily be self sufficient staying here! Polydoros, our host, was very welcoming and attentive and always available should an issue arise. He is local to Sitia with a host of knowledge regarding restaurants, beaches, and places to visit so can act as a good guide if it’s your first visit to this magnificent off the beaten track destination.

The apartment is in downtown, so everything at walking distance. A free parking just in front of the apartment. The bedroom is so silent. You sleep very well. Polydoros is very kind and attentive to guests’ needs.

In all of my years renting vacation accommodations I can't remember more caring and generous hosts than Polydoros and Mary. They went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed and consequently our stay at their lovely apartment was a highlight of our recent ten week trip to Europe. We're a retired couple in our early 70s who love to travel. The first floor apartment with a terrace off the living room faces a fairly busy street. Surprisingly it was not particularly noisy and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a drink. There is also a small terrace off the bedroom with a clothes drying rack. There is a large free parking lot across the street from the apartment but we always found a space on the road outside the apartment. Although we have visited Crete before, this was our first trip to Sitia. Greece in August can be very crowded but Sitia being less of a tourist town was not too busy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is just a short walk to the beach and the many restaurants lining the picturesque old port. Fantastic value for the money. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. However, if we could change just one thing it would be to replace the divan in the living room with a comfortable sofa.

The whole experience in this apartment was excellent.Sorry but we cannot find points for improvement! Place,comfort, decoration, cleanness and small details made out vacations perfect!Extra bonus Pol's (the host) superb hospitality and goodwill which exceed our expectations.Highly recommended.
