Nafplio Veranda Apartment

Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage. Die Terrasse ist super toll und die Aussicht mega schön. Das Apartment war sehr sauber. Die Besitzer sehr nett. Die Betten sind sehr bequem.

Die Ausstattung ist schon sehr abgenutzt. Geräte wie Wasserkocher und Orangenpresse funktionieren nicht. Die Sitzmöbel sind sehr durchgesessen. Für kalte Tage ist die Wohnung zu kalt.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for the whole family to relax, even on rainy days when we didn't want to go out. The veranda was amazing for sunny days and evenings - we wished we'd had more of them! The views were beautiful. The kitchen apartment is very well equipped for self-catering, with a hob, oven, large fridge/freezer and dishwasher. We felt like it was lacking a set of decent sharp knives for cooking, but when we contacted the owner to mention the lack of knives, the owner's mother popped up from the apartment below with a sharp knife for us! Excellent customer service!! It's on the edge of town in a quiet residential area, with a parking space underneath the building. A Lidl supermarket is only 5 minutes walk away, plus lots of smaller local shops. It's an easy drive out of the city to so many incredible sites - Tiryns, Epidaurus, Mycenae, etc - which was the main reason that we visited the area. It's also a flat and pleasant walk into the 'old town' of Napflio, which is very scenic and bustling.

You are outside the main tourist area, so the surrounding streets are not as attractive as the centre of town. However, the payback for this is the extra space and the parking! But just something to be aware of.

Die Wohnung ist außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet, man vermisst nichts. Die Betten fest und bequem, die Terrasse riesig und toll zum Grillen. In 20-25 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt, Bäcker und Geschäfte sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war perfekt, schnell und unkompliziert, kleinere Wünsche wurden problemlos erfüllt. Besser geht es nicht.

Everything was great, just like in the pictures. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment. The terrace is really amazing, nice to sit in the evening or have breakfast in the morning.

We really liked the apartment and our stay there. It is located in a nice living area, supermarket, small restaurants etc in walking distance (it is on a hill, but we did not find it to hard to walk up / down) - you can even walk to the city centre in 15 min, we did that a couple of times too. Area felt super save and nice people :-) There is parking in the shadow what was great! The apartment is spacious, was very clean and has everything you need (and more than you would usually expect, there was a toastie maker, a milk frother etc!), and our highlights where the lemon tree outside the bedrooms windows and the terrace - it is huge, you have shadow and sun the whole day, nice seating area, amazing view and it is secluded. We met our hosts, friendly and helpful during the whole stay - and even after: we forgot something and they made sure we got it before leaving back home - what a special services.
