Naxian Icon Luxury Residence

The apartment is just perfect! It's owned by the Valettas family and managed by their son Giànnis (John). It's located less than 10 minutes walking from the Chora (Naxos downtown), with a private rooftop where you can have wonderful lunches or dinners. John is a friendly host, he gave us all the information and support we needed to experience our trip in Naxos at best. We strongly suggest his facility and we really hope to meet him again in future. Ad maiora!

Beautiful, spacious and well equipped apartment, with spacious terrace. Located in a walking distance from city center, beach, supermarket, bakeries etc etc. The host is very responsive and helpful, gives great recommendations. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Everything! I was worried that it might be noisy but it was really quiet . Beautifully decorated with gorgeous bedding and thoughtful extras which really made our stay so special. Generous with loo rolls , soft fluffy towels, lovely toiletries…….convenient for the bus to plaka beach, good bakery, supermarket close by . Great communication with host very sad to leave !

A little more pots and pans , and utensils.

The apartment was beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower was wonderful. There was an abundance of towels, and the apartment was cleaned every other day. Johnnie met us on the first day and left us with a fresh baked loaf of bread, drinking water and ham and cheese to get us started. We were able to find our way all around Naxos. It was a 10 -15 minute walk to the Port and close by to the meeting points of our food tour and day trips to Mykonos and Paros. There was a bus going to the beaches and also to the villages right across from nearby Agios Nicodemus Greek Church. A supermarket was a few blocks away. Bottled water was cheap, and we got addicted to potato chips with oregano during our stay. The washing machine worked great, and we used it several times. The TV was easy to use, and we were able to get US news in English on You Tube Live. The bed was comfortable, and the bedroom closets were much appreciated. We each had our own closet for the duration of our stay. The apartment was located in a real neighborhood, with children playing in the nearby park and with many people on the street who were friendly and welcoming. This was truly a 5 star apartment. We enjoyed Naxos overall and especially our stay at this apartment.

I really can't think of much, except perhaps the omission of a clothes drying rack to hang up wet clothes. There was, however, a nifty tree stand with many branches to hang up clothes. Hopefully, it was meant to accommodate the drying of clothes and not merely a clothes rack--at least that is what we used it for. It was our mistake, but after getting off the ferry at the Port, we decided it would be a nice 17 minute walk to the apartment. However, we were not able to follow the Google map instructions and got a bit lost. We decided to trace our steps back to near the Port and took a Taxi. It turned out the driver knew our apartment host, and took us there quickly. In our walking attempt, we actually made it half way to the destination before getting directionally lost. In any event, I would recommend simply taking a taxi directly from the ferry port to the place instead of attempting to walk it. The airport is only 5 minutes away from the apartment if you visit Naxos via plane, so a taxi would be recommended for that as well.

Magnificent accommodation and host. The physical apartment exceeded the photos, beautifully designed and furnished and impeccably clean. Complete with everything you need and more, greeted with bottled water, bread, butter, cheese and meat in our fridge to enjoy upon our arrival. Fantastic quiet location, so close to everything. Our host Gianni was so helpful and gracious, supplying map links to supermarket, recommended restaurants, bars etc, he even transported us to the port on leaving day for our ferry. We cannot thank you enough for making our stay in Naxos so enjoyable.

The property is well equipped with lots of great features like the terrace with sun loungers, table and chairs, bbq and sink. The owners were very attentive and check that everything was good. They even provided a basic welcome pack.

We had a car hire during our stay and it was not easy to find street parking within 100 metres, but we did find a small communal car park.
