Fantastic location on a quiet street near the town centre. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was great and ensured a comfy sleep even in the height of summer. When we called the hosts they were very friendly. We loved having breakfast each morning in the beautiful garden, which is just across the narrow street. There's a car park a short walk from the house that always had space for our car. The hosts offered to meet us off the 3am ferry which was very nice, but we were happy to collect the key from a safe location, which was good as the ferry was 2 hours late. We had a great week in Nisyros, but there were a few things listed below that would have made our stay better.

When we arrived for our weeks stay we noticed that the washing machine was broken and leaking. We called the host right away but it never got fixed, so we had a wet bathroom floor for the whole stay which was unpleasant. The host did offer to wash our clothes if we dropped them off but this was a hassle so we ended up hand washing. The kitchen was quite well equipped but needs at least one chopping board and better knives. A few of the chairs in the garden were broken. When contacting the hosts it took several days for any reply though booking.com so we'd recommend phoning if you can.

Nous avons tout apprécié mais il faut savoir qu’il y a quelques marches à gravir comme souvent dans les villages grecs.

Very quiet place and neighborhood. Close to all facilities in town (fruits market, supermarket, butcher, tavernas)

Great stay! Due to the ferry schedule and bad weather I was allowed to arrive early and leave late. Also the comunication was easy and good, house hab absolutely everything you need.

Wi-Fi signal is weak. But it is a problem of a whole island, not a property.

A very spacious old house, with everything you need, and lovely views, beside the start of the old footpath to the ancient castle, a short walk to Hoklaki beach and the tavernas, shops and bars of Mandraki.

It was a little cool in the middle of winter but the host was very responsive and would have got the heater working if we'd been staying longer - as it was just one night it wasn't necessary.

Beautiful traditional house on a quiet street, but only a short walk away from shops and restaurants and sights. Very authentic and spacious. The host met us at the harbor and it's also possible to rent a car from them, very convenient. And they allow pets, which is great! We visited right after the season ended, so it was nice and calm, and the locals are extremely friendly and helpful! Until next time!
