It was spotless and well appointed. A large comfortable king size bed. Air conditioning, lovely shower with complimentary shower gels. A fridge, kettle & hob. Cutlery & crockery. A very warm welcome. A great restaurant with pool less than 100yds away. Perfect for an overnight stay as walking distance from the airport.

Villa Sophia Elena is a beautiful property. We stayed there on our way back from Ithaki. We had a flight the next day. It is very close to the airport. You will have no problem walking with your luggage. There was no noisy planes, even though it is so close. We were greeted by the Captain upon our arrival and he gave us a tour. He was very sweet. The apartment is very elegant. If you have young, energetic kids, it is best to move any breakable items from their reach. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. We had no problem sleeping. The wrap-around porch was gorgeous and it had nice patio furniture to sit at look at the water. It had a clothing washer, but you'll need to air dry. The kitchen had a microwave and oven with plenty of kitchen tools if you need to cook. He kept cold water bottles in the fridge so that was nice when we checked in to have cold water. He told us ehere to find the mini market and we didna take-away order at Ikarus restaurant. It was a very nice place to stay and we would stay there again.

The floor level shower door was not attached, so we did not feel comfortable using it and getting water everwhere. We used the upstairs bathtub, which made it more difficult for us.

The place is conveniently located 5 minutes from the airport by foot. It was clean and tidy, and the owner was very nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

The manager was very rude Tried to make me pay in cash...accused me of having no money on my card. Said women should not travel on their own. He made me very uncomfortable
