Amazing location, beautiful room , clean and comfortable

Afissos is lovely. However, Booking.com misleadingly classify this property as a hotel. It is in fact a self catering studio. So there was no breakfast offered.

1. See above. 2. The studio boasts a sea view, but this is also misleading: it can only be enjoyed by standing at small window. 3. The shower needs careful negotiation to avoid soaking the bathroom. 4. Instructions about the handing over of keys need to be reviewed. I had to ask a local to help me get in.

Nice size studio apartment, everything clean. Lots provided in the kitchen (not that I used it). There was a very nice restaurant down the road. Bed was comfortable.

Didn't feel very private. Curtains were almost see-through, and apartment is directly on a busy street, only separated from the street by a single door. It was fairly noisy at times. Bathroom window faced a courtyard, in which there were sometimes people. Again, it didn't feel very private. Not on the beach, as stated. It's on the street, with pedestrians and cars passing. There is a busy beach nearby, with sunbeds, cafes and bars. I chose a quieter beach further away. There was a misunderstanding about where the host's friend was going to pick me up from the bus and he had to drive an extra few minutes. The amount of money she suggested I give him in recompense was very much higher than was appropriate.

The lovely Georgia met us and showed us around the beautiful apartment that was situated right on the water. We were tiold about Afissos by family who stayed there so we decided to stay for a 2 day rest on our way driving up north. This little town did not disappoint. Grand Boutique has prime position along the main street surrounded by lovely cafes and restaurants. The beach is a 2 minute walk. The apartment is an open plan bedroom, lounge, dining, kitchen and very spacious. Lots of areas to open up luggage comfortably. Georgia is the most beautiful lady who is on hand to help with whatever you need. We drove to Agio Ioannis and Mylopotamos beaches on the other side of the peninsula. Pelion is a beautiful region to explore where the mountains meet the sea. Afissos nightlife is just great with bars staying open till very late. There is also a supermarket for all your needs.

The only thing I can think of is the wifi was weak but given the location, it's understandable.

It was exceptional stay! Family running the apartments are so nice people, friendly and cheerful, we felt ourself at home! The room is very big, clean and cozy, the kitchen is equipped with everything you may need. Bed is comfortable. There is very cozy yard with a table and chairs, so guests have an opportunity to serve a dinner outside. The apartments are very well located - 3-min walking distance to the most beautiful beach - Abovos. There small supermarket on the main square and a lot of restaurants and cafe are also nearby. We loved everything about the stay! Strongly recommended! We already want to come back, thank you so so much dear Georgia, Nancy and Georgos!
