Rika’s Luxury seaside apartment

Absolutely everything was perfect. Beautiful place, clean, spacious and we had everything we needed. Fantastic location, just next to the beach and all the restaurants, not far from the port and old town. The host was lovely, helpful, friendly and easy to contact. The apartment is quite modern and has everything you need. The only tip I have, is to remember is to keep turning the hot water on, 15 min before you want to take shower, because it has to heat it first. We had the ground floor apartment, so my advice/suggestion is to close the electric balcony and terrace shutters when you go sleep, otherwise in the morning you will have a cat guest sleeping on the chair ( which was a positive experience for me btw ) 😊 I was so happy with everything, that I already know, I would love to stay in this apartment in the future, whenever I will visit Chania again. The location, the apartment was super clean, modern and every detail had been thought of. The greeting, keeping in touch, the gifts of fruit and other items. Truly amazing!

Nothing it was perfect. If I had to add anything that I personally would like, it would have been a safe in the room.

This apartment was perfect and steps from the sea! It is exactly as per the photos. Our host Elpida left some really nice touches like wine, raki, water and light bites, very much appreciated. We loved our stay!

There was nothing we didn’t like

We spent 1 week at one of Rikas' luxury apartments and can honestly say it was one of the best we have been to. The location couldn't be better being just a few steps from the beach and the many cafes, bars, and restaurants. The area is quiet but if you prefer the hustle and bustle of the city its just a 20 min walk along the gorgeous coastline to the city centre and old town which is a maze of little streets with quaint little shops bars and restraunts. The groundfloor room was perfect for a couple, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was absolutely gorgeous, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need with a few added extras from the lovely Rika that made our stay that bit more special. The bed was super comfortable, and the pillows provided were just right. The bathroom has a large modern shower and plenty space with again more added extras provided, including a washing machine with everything you need if you wish to wash laundry before you leave. A fantastic drying area to the rear of the apartment to air you washing also. There is a comfortable seating area with a TV, which has access to Netflix, YouTube, and other viewing platforms to keep you entertained. Also, excellent wifi provided. There is a lovely balcony with table and chairs and a gorgeous side view of the beach which we enjoyed in the evening to sit and have a few drinks. For added security, the electric shutters are an excellent touch, plus they provide total darkness for a long lie in the morning. The remote-controlled air conditioning is fantastic, quiet, and again, one of the best we have had. All in all, everything has been provided for a perfect stay. Rika herself is the kindest, most helpful host you could ask for.. Nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely return here and have already recommended this rental to our family and friends. Thank you, Rika, for making this one of the best holidays we have ever had.

everything was lovely

The apartment is ideally situated 20 metres from a 'family' beach and a good number of very good restaurants within a very easy stroll of the apartment. The walk into Chania old town is a very gentle 20 minute stroll along the seafront and harbour.
