Mirthios-Hill Apartments

It was a very pleasant experience. The place looked even better than in the fotos! The check-in was nice and uncomplicated. The view from the balcony is just breath taking and also the garden in the back of the house is nice to relax or even to do a little work out. The equipment in the kitchen was good to cook when we were not in the mood to eat in a restaurant. One special thing was, that the apartment is directly next to a mountain, so when you sit in the garden, it feels very peaceful. Mirthios is a sweet place as well with some places to eat, have coffee or go on a tiny shopping tour for clothes or local pottery.

As we already read in the other comments, it is important to mention the way up to the Apartment. It truly can be exhausting to go up there, but in general i‘d say if you‘re a sporty / healthy person, the beautiful apartment is totally worth it!

Nina's Mirthois Hill two apartments are spacious and well appointed. Kitchen has a stove/oven and microwave and generally all which is required. Kitchen towels were not provided. The bathroom is good. Hot water is provided from rooftop solar heating. No shower or bathroom handwash or gel was provided. The ability to wash and dry clothes in an enclosed area was appreciated. The bottom apartment has a small flowered and shrub garden with a little lawn. Under the solitary tree there is a table chairs and loafers. Views from this area are expansive to the coast and the handy town (ten mins drive) of Plakias which has several supermarkets, stores and medical facilities and a pharmacy.

Access to the apartments at the top of Mirthios Village is difficult. Unsuitable for elderly, people with mobility problems Parking anywhere near the apartments is a challenge and access is along a very narrow lane. We had to trudge up about fifty steep winding poorly formed uneven steps' It is best to not try and carry suitcases but rather offload into several mangeable carryalls before proceeding from your vehicle. We occupied the bottom unit. Its disadvantage is that the floor creaks and groans when upstairs tenants move about. The ability to determine any male's prostate problems is excellent!! The queen-sized bed was comfortable but difficult to get in to! The mattress sits on a low wooden platform. The person sleeping on the side nearest the window has a challenge getting in and out of bed. The corner outside light with a step was not operating. This spot night time use without a torch was potentially dangerous.

The house was just as expected.. very nice. Communication was very easy and clear. The location was a little challenging at first but well worth it for the stay and view!

Outstanding view, beautiful garden, great communication, family friendly, lovely host - it’s the prefect place for a calm and relaxing vacation! We had a great time. The walk uphill to the apartment was no problem, although we were traveling with our 7-month-old son.

This was our third time staying at the Mirthios Hill Apartments, and we are definitely coming back. The apartment is cozy and well-equipped, the garden is beautiful and the views over the bay are incredible. The house lies at the very edge of Mirthios and the area is quiet and peaceful. We loved the host, Dina, who made sure everything was taken care of.

A great stay in that beautiful house (apartment with a garden) with a superbe view on the Plakias bay. All the way up to the house was a bit sporty but the calm and the view was worth it really.
