Eleni and Morris were very kind and accommodating, and they really made us feel at home. Throughout our stay they showed that they cared about us having a pleasant stay in their apartment. It was very easy to communicate with them and get the information we needed. We enjoyed our stay, and we would definitely come back! The apartment was well equipped with a laundry machine, place to dry the clothes and a dishwasher. The kitchen had everything we needed, including some spices for cooking and delicious home made olive oil and marmelade. The balcony was large, with nice views ot the ocean, and really nice to have breakfast at. The location of the apartment was good and we felt safe walking back home at night. It was close to supermarket and the main bus station. It's walking distance to the old town and to Rethymno Beach. There was also a parking lot available.

Lovely apartment and very comfortable and well equipped. Great balcony for relaxing and eating.

The slope leading up to the apartment was not suitable for people with walking difficulties at all. I mention this as I have limb length discrepancy and other problems due to an accident .

Everything was beyond expectations! The hospitality of the host Eleni was impressive. A nice lady that helped us a lot, and made us feel the cosmopolitan culture of Crete and cretan people. The appartment reflected the heart of a family of artists. The facility was better than described. Everything we needed was there and we felt like home. We will return there for sure! Practically nothing.

A home from home. The owner Eleni was so welcoming. She even provided home made jam and her own bio olive oil. The modern flat was in a quiet location, in a real neighbourhood, with both a supermarket and the beach within walking distance. It was well equipped with modern quiet AC. Fast wifi. It was a perfect location to explore the old town on foot. It is on the west of the old town with very easy access to the highway for those who want to explore Crete by car. There is a parking space outside the flat. Needed as the flat is up a very steep drive. I woul recommend Saxophone House and would definitely return. Thankyou Eleni for being an enthusiastic and responsive host!

we were even picked up from the Bus station to avoid the steep walk up.

The location was great,only 10 minutes walking from the old town center, a good position to start our trips and very close to a wonderful beach for families with children. The host is an amazing person and gave us a warm welcoming, the sheets and towels very clean and the beds confortable.The apartment is well equiped and we had a wonderful time. I really recommend it for couples or families with children( we had a room with toys). Thank you for the great acommodation!
