Handy to amenities that suited us

The location of the apartment was within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. The apartment was situated on a quiet street with good parking. The apartment was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. They provided toiletries and cleaning equipment. All messages were answered promptly and access to apartment was straight forward.

The location was super central

The location because was basically in the center and very close to the sea. Outside we always found parking without problem. Room was clean.

The room without balcony has basically no living space considering the fact that the only window in the whole apartment can’t be used because it faces the street. We had to leave the blinders down the whole time otherwise the people passing by would see straight into the room. The toilet and the “bedroom” are divided by this fancy smoky glass - very nice - the down side is that If someone turns the light on in the toilet the light shine on the whole room. We had to hang our towels and wet things to dry onto the hanger and then bring it outside the room where the hallways is (shared with other people) otherwise the humidity formed in the room would leave us breathless. There was a broom without dustpan. Honestly I don’t really recommend the room without balcony.

The apartment is spacious and located in a good area with free parking available on the same street. It is well equipped, with a functioning AC and the added comfort of extra pillows.

The apartment has serious humidity problems, with a noticeable smell, especially in the bathroom. While this wasn't a major issue for our two-night stay, the main concern was the lack of privacy and noise protection. The street door is an iron fence, and the ground-floor apartment has a blurred glass door. This setup does little to shield you from the street noise and light, making it challenging to get a good night's sleep.

The apartment was just as advertised in the photos. It was neat, clean, spacious and comfortable, and very suitable for a budget conscious traveller. The location was perfect and a short walk to everything that I wanted to visit. Right at the end of the street was the ocean and a swimming area. A balcony area and small drying rack allowed me to dry washing too. As a solo, female traveller, I felt the area was safe and I felt secure in the apartment. There was a metal security door on the street level and my apartment door also felt secure. The check in was easy, and the owner kept in touch with me giving me clear instructions on how to access the keys through a lock box at the property. The owner was also very prompt in getting back to me to answer any questions. If you were interested in self-catering, everything that you would need was provided. I had a fantastic stay in the property and loved every minute of Chania, a charming, interesting and easy to navigate city. I also very much enjoyed several meals at a local restaurant called Kouzina, in Daskalogianni Street, (a short walk, less than 10 minutes, from the property).Tasty, authentic food. I recommend this property and I would stay there again myself.

Small issues really, that did not detract from the enjoyment of my stay. * I would have loved a wall mounted safe in the room. That way I would not have needed to carry my passport everywhere. * A few extra pegs for the drying rack on the balcony would be helpful.

The location was brilliant, and we loved having a balcony in the shade.

The place smelt very strongly of stale cigarette smoke for the duration of our stay. We don't know if it was the previous people staying there, or maybe a neighbouring property causing the issue.
