Aegina House

The property is a well loved, traditional Greek family home. Good air conditioning, great location and wonderful host who checked us in & was very friendly.

The old style bath/shower is difficult for adults to use as you cannot stand to shower. Shame there was no tea/coffee/sugar available as we had to buy for just a couple of days stay which seemed a waste.

Location was very good (10 minutes by foot to Aegina port) and the host very comunicative and helpful

The smell in the house was bed when we entered first time but probably because we were the first guests on this season. The house wasn’t probably airy during the winter time. Also the bathroom needs urgently to be renewed and completely refurbished in order to meet the expectations of nowadays, because it is very outdated Otherwise a good quality / price

We liked the little garden and the outside patio. The beds were comfy

Was quite a long walk-20 mins from the port having said that, it was not a difficult walk!

Spacious house,well equipped and in very good location. Recent renovated. Nice garden perfect for relaxing outside. The parking place provided solved the difficulties of finding place to park on the island.

Bathroom needs partial renovation.

The location and the fact that it had a parking spot. The host seemed nice and accomdatong on the telephone but perhaps he should make an appearance instead of his mother tp welcome guests.

The hosts mother from the time we got there was rude, unwelcoming. She told us we had to move our car out of the car spot the next day as other guests were arriving in the adjoining house. However the host said it was fine to leave there. We asked her for some shampoo and body wash as the place had nothing and her response was "no one ever asks for this, you are only staying for 2 nights, why do you need this?" The bathroom had basically no toileteries apart from handwash. The kitchen was ready to fall down especially the wall dividing the lounge room and kitchen. Very unsafe considering we have a baby. The kitchen didn't have basic supplies such as oil, paper/kitchen towels or anything else. Not even some water in the fridge upon arrival. I mean, I know times are tough economically but this was ridiculous, and then making us feel like we were in the wrong by the hosts mother when asking for some basic supplies which all places have standard. The final thing was when we left today she had the audacity to tell us to throw our rubbish in the large bins on the street. We left everything packed away neatly in plastic bags without making a mess. Do you want us to clean the rest of the house too??? This is shy we pay a cleaning fee. Ridiculous! Good business would be tp reconsider having your mother involved with your rentals, especially after the way she treats guests!

Needed new pillows.Should have provided a few basics in the kitchen. At least a bottle of cold water in fridge as it was nearly 40c during our stay.A few garbage bags for toilet paper and general garbage.
