Atmospher was good

A beautifully restored 18/19th century town cottage. Very difficult to find even asking local people, eventually guided there by a very helpful member of staff from local restaurant. The cottage is located between two roads in the back "alley's" where many properties are being brought back into use after many years dereliction. The area suffers from a short term problem of "graffiti" relating to a recent international issue. Close to the City centre, barely 10 minute walk.

Messages from owner should be read as information will be helpful. The water heater needs turning off after 20 minutes ! should be fitted with thermostatically controlled unit ! A/C & TV controllers need new batteries along with the clock. In the bedroom there is an enormous 1930s wardrobe 1/3 rd. of which is locked for owners goods & chattels along with a cupboard under the TV. The wardrobe is the only piece of furniture apart from two small bedside tables hanging from ropes and the bed of course. Without any other furniture the floor has to be used for one's goods & chattels. The wardrobe is too big for the cottage and needs replacing with a smaller unit with chest of drawers. There are other small problems but all could be resolved with a bit more regular maintenance and a couple of hours.

Nice old traditional cretan house....the bed was comfortable....overall nice and quiet!

The aircondition didn't work but the owner tried to help! The bathroom is a bit small but we managed!
